Welcome to our website. I facilitate the Employment and Education Assistance Program here at the Suffield MFRC. You and your family face many unique stressors associated with the military lifestyle, all affecting your ability to find or maintain employment and/or pursue a career.

Together, we can address employment and career-related concerns, find employment or look into upgrading required skills. I look forward to hearing from you, and helping you in your search for employment in your new home.

A Sample of Services Available...

The MFRC holds information on post secondary educational facilities and distance learning opportunities, including current program calendars, course pre-requisites and all related fees. We liaise with local training facilities and offer various employment/educational workshops throughout the year.

The Employment and Education Assistance Program is here for you and your family. Your input is most welcome. Please let me know how the service rates. You can contact me directly or you can access the Evaluation link.

The following lists the program objectives taken from the MFSP Parameters for Practice Accountability Framework:

Service Goal: Assist civilian spouses and youth in meeting their educationaland employment goals
OBJECTIVES INDICATORS
1) Civilian spouses and youth have access to information regarding options for training and education
2) Civilian spouses and youth have access to information on employment resources available in the community.
3) Civilian spouses and youth have access to job search and career development assistance.
4) Families with children have access to information about local schools when posted to a new community.
5) Civilian spouses and youth make a successful career/educational transitions.
