Fitness, Sports & Recreational
The FS&R section at CFB Suffield offer a number of programs and activities for military members and their families, as well as noon-hour and weekday activities for our civilian employees. Professional staff organize a wide range of activities such as adult's and children's swimming lessons, hockey schools, skating lessons, fitness programs, aerobic classes, aquacise and several other sports programs and classes.
While military training has priority during normal working hours, the gym does offer open recreation during stipulated times. This includes the gym floor, weight room, aerobics area, squash court, bowling alley, sauna and swimming pool. During the spring and summer, we also have a children's splash park, outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court and the golf driving range.
Pet registrations are also conducted at the CFB Suffield gymnasium through the Secretary/Pet Registration Officer.
Any member of the staff may be approached to answer questions about programs and facilities here at CFB Suffield. We are here to help make your stay at this base a little more active. Come and see what we have to offer.
