Personal Development & Community Integration
This area of programming encompasses five integral services provided, including 'Welcome and Community Orientation', 'Information & Referral', 'Employment & Education Assistance', 'Personal Growth & Development', and 'Second Language Services'. Through the provision of these services, we can help new families integrate into the community, enhance their quality of life, and promote and support personal, family and community development.
No one staff member could possibly cover all of the areas of 'Personal Development & Community Integration'. In order to provide you with the utmost level of servicing, we took into consideration the diversity of these five areas, and hired trained individuals who best suited the role.

"When members of a community are actively engaged in the life of their community, the community as a whole benefits. Since members of a community are often in the best position to know their own needs, true community involvement engages family members in planning, designing, delivering and evaluating services. The MFSP supports communities to meet their changing needs and encourages community members to take advantage of opportunities for personal growth and development".
